Duchess came to our rescue with some trust issues. She completed a 4 week program where she learned her basic commands and gained self confidence. With her sight impaired on the right and prior physical abuse, she does react strongly at times to something coming up quickly on her right. For those reasons, we do not recommend children for Duchess. She needs a home where she can just be herself, ideally with a doggie door to come and go as she pleases, a yard or acreage where she can patrol. She’s an excellent companion for the right person or couple. She is an active, loving girl who just needs her new owner(s) to take it slow around her and accept her with her limitations.
